They knew nothing
Except their innocence!
But the parents have seen them
Grown-ups!
Most knowledgeable
Most revered
And model for others to follow!
But the people have called them
Learned !
Altruistic in nature
Admirable in action
Adorable in thought!
But the colleagues have declared them
Misfit for the times
Misunderstood for the tastes
Misinterpreted for the tenderness!
They are kids
They know nothing
Except the key to happiness!
They know being detached
Being contented
Being joyful
And being human!
They are still kids
They know nothing
Except the secret of peace!
They are kids forever
They know nothing
Except filling the hollow hearts with love !
Except taming the sun to shrink to lantern !
Except illuminating the world with light !
