WHERE HAS MY FLOWER GONE?
------ Harikrishna mamidi
#mhk_poetry
It's a garden
which I grow on the hillock
where sunrays touch the ground!
It's a garden of dreams
Grown on the bank of imagination
Where moonlight caresses the eye lids!
It's a garden of hopes
Grown on the shore of expectations
Where a rainbow pecks on the cheeks!
It's a garden of joy
Grown on the horizon of fantasy
Where a glowy cloud kisses the lips!
It's a garden of peace
Grown on the edge of the thought
Where a raindrop falls on the forehead!
It's a garden of happiness
Grown on the fields of memory
Where a layer of fog passes over the chest!
It's a garden of ambitions
Grown on the valley of ideas
Where a waterfall jumps through the arms!
It's a garden of affection
Grown on the land of feelings
Where a stream hastens through the belly!
It's a garden of compassion
Grown on the plains of emotions
Where a river flows across the feet!
It's a garden of everything
of twigs, plants, trees
but no flower has bloomed so far
I took vows and poured the water
to grow a flower from the garden
Alas, all my attempts gone in vain!
On the verge of 48th hour
A flower blossomed from a wild tree in the corner
I saw it through its tenderness
I listen it through its petals
I smell it through its smile
I feel it through its presence!
Flower.. Oh flower
you are the outcome of my age-long waiting!
Flower... My flower
You are the product of my age-less penance!
I touched it gently- kissed it smoothly
I pampered it soothingly- hold it subtly....!
Now, I got a companion
To talk, speak, shout, converse, congratulate
To share big-little things and little-big actions
21 Eras have been passed in an eye-blink time
Ages have flown away in a split-second rhyme
In a gala glorious gleeful chuckle!
As usual, in the morning
I reached the tree to greet the flower
But the flower-less green leaves greeted me in reciprocation
Anywhere near, I couldn't see and feel the flower of my life!
I screamed at the trees
Where has the flower gone?
I shouted at the garden
Where has my flower gone?
The Trees are tight-lipped,
The Garden is unanswered and kept quiet..
Now, I have started my expedition
to find my missing flower..
My friend, have you seen my flower anywhere??
